Lexus Showroom & Omotenashi Restaurant
The Lexus of Tasmania showroom & restaurant is a unique space that marries the company’s Japanese heritage with its Tasmanian context. The Lexus of Tasmania showroom is located in The Rox Apartments in Hobart.
We collaborated with BYA Architects, the team at Lexus, and Vos Shopfitting, to create a beautifully crafted and distinctly Tasmanian backdrop for the showcased cars.
Tasmanian Oak battens by Britton Timbers were selected for their natural and durable aesthetic, resulting in a space that is homely and inviting. The timber wall lining complements the bespoke showroom furniture designed and made by Scott Van Tuil.
At the rear of the showroom is a beautifully crafted, Japanese-style kitchen featuring vintage pendant lights sourced from Angelucci. The Lexus Kitchen can seat 12 people for dinners prepared by Tasmanian and Australian chefs using local and seasonal produce.
